Overall, it was a great day and we are so grateful to Nancy for designing a special workshop for us that targeted some really great themes. The Middle School was tasked with the responsibility of organizing and running the event. Just a quick post this week as my room is currently filling up with movie goers! Middle school students love food and they are showing that through the amazing meals that they are producing each week. Thank you to those of you that participated in the Doodle Poll to select a date for the Drama Production.

The students are still working on these structures so the competition is still on! Our grade 7s are homfwork to get their first turn as head chef and we are really impressed with the meals that they are cooking so far. We talked kene how body language and tone account for a huge part of the message that we send to others before the words even come into play!

We hope everyone has a restful weekend with lots of sleep and relaxation and maybe a little bit of homework; It was really lovely to check in with all of the parents this week during interviews.
Jasper came 36th in the Grade 7 boys race and Patrick came 15th in the Grade 8 boys race. We hope to work with Nancy again in the future!
They did an excellent job in setting the tone for the seriousness of the event and the rest of the students followed suit. This Week in Summary: There were a lot of items due at the end of the week so as long as things were submitted on time, the Middleschoolers should have a lighter load this weekend in terms of homework.
